Should you, as a sales manager, visit your customers? And if so, how often?
In a recent episode of Straight Talk!, Jeff Cross, ISSA Media Director, talked to speaker, author, and sales consultant Dave Kahle to get his thoughts on the role of sales managers in keeping up with customers.
“The salesperson does not own the customer. The company owns the customer,” Kahle told Cross during the interview. “So therefore, the company, in the form of the sales manager, has every right and responsibility to create a relationship with at least the good customers, if not every customer.”
To find out just how often you should visit customers and, perhaps more importantly, the reasons why you should meet with them, watch the video or listen to the podcast of the episode below.
