Marsden South L.L.C., a Marsden Holding Co., is a rapidly growing provider of commercial janitorial and building maintenance services across the central United States. When Marsden secured a contract to service a newly constructed 350,000 square foot financial services office building in Georgia, the company faced the challenge of launching a successful site startup under complex conditions.
The facility featured six different flooring types, including a newly introduced European manufactured surface Marsden had never cleaned before. Storage space limitations ruled out using multiple machines dedicated to individual surfaces, and the previously recommended cleaning method produced inconsistent results and left chemical residue in the flooring’s crevices. Marsden needed a flexible, space efficient solution that would streamline training, protect the floors, and ensure consistent cleaning performance from day one.
Marsden partnered with Tennant to develop a customized cleaning strategy. Tennant equipment specialists conducted on-site evaluations to assess the flooring types, productivity goals, and training needs. Together, the teams selected the Tennant T300 orbital scrubber equipped with ecH2O NanoClean™ technology to effectively clean the complex new surface. The orbital scrubbing action and single-pass cleaning capability eliminated chemical residue while boosting productivity and safety by enabling floors to dry quickly.
To handle additional floor types throughout the building, Marsden added the compact Tennant T2 scrubber for tight spaces and a wet/dry vacuum with a front-mounted squeegee for transitional flooring. Tennant also advised on strategic equipment placement and cleaning patterns to maximize efficiency and reduce unnecessary equipment movement.
The results were immediate. Marsden minimized equipment costs, reduced training time, improved cleaning consistency, and increased overall productivity. The new solution enabled operators to clean multiple surfaces
