3 Days Remain to Vote for America’s Best Restroom

August 18, 2021

From restrooms decorated with neon lights and selfie set-ups to those featuring inspirational messages—or definitions of animal dung—on the wall, this year’s contestants for Cintas Corp.’s America’s Best Restroom® Contest are a quirky lot, Nexstar Media Wire reports. One restroom is even modeled after a subway train car, complete with graffiti, ads, and station announcements.

Peruse the pictures of these creative lavatories and vote for your favorite by August 20.

Established by Cintas in 2002, this annual award program honors nonresidential, publicly accessible restrooms that place hygiene and style at the top of their priority list and recognize the parallel between clean restrooms and customer retention.

Cintas revealed the 10 finalists, chosen from dozens of submissions, last month. The public may vote for its top pick at www.bestrestroom.com/us through August 20. The winner and runners-up will be announced in late fall, and the most popular entries will be enshrined in Cintas’ America’s Best Restroom Contest Hall of Fame. The grand prize winner will also receive a Cintas UltraClean® restroom cleaning along with US$2,500 worth of facility services.
