Amazon Adapts Robots for Cleaning

Amazon.com, Inc. has developed patent-pending technology that would allow its warehouse robots—already used for transporting and restocking products throughout the warehouse—to be used for cleaning as well.

The robots can be configured to mop, scrub, wax, or sweep in addition to their current stocking capabilities.
