Flu Outbreak Hits MLB Team

An influenza outbreak has soured the start of the season for MLB’s Boston Red Sox.

At least nine players, along with the team’s play-by-play announcer, have been stricken ill in the past week. Red Sox officials have ordered a thorough cleaning and sterilization of the team’s home field, Fenway Park. The Boston, MA, park’s clubhouse was fumigated with flu-killing foggers while the team was on a recent road trip, Yahoo News reports.
