Norovirus Strikes San Jose Schools

A norovirus outbreak has been reported by the San Jose, CA, Unified School District.

Health officials in Santa Clara County, CA, have confirmed more than 250 cases of the gastrointestinal illness at 12 San Jose area schools during the past week. School district administrators have temporarily halted all extracurricular programs and have enacted enhanced cleaning procedures of all high-touch areas, KNTV reports.
