P&G, 3M, Dow Chemical Recognized for Product Innovation

Products developed by Dow Chemical Co., 3M, and Procter & Gamble (P&G), the parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional, have been named recipients of 2017 Edison Awards.

The annual Edison Award program recognizes the most innovative new products and business leaders. A panel of judges selected the award winners based on the concept, value, delivery, and impact criteria. Winners were announced at the Edison Awards annual gala, April 20, in New York, NY.

Two Dow Chemical products received Edison Awards. Dow’s Accutrace™ S10 fuel marker was honored with a Silver Edison Award in the theft deterrent category while its Canvera™ polyolefin dispersions received a Bronze Edison Award in the packaging category.

P&G’s Tide® purclean™ was recognized as the Silver Edison Award winner in the sustainability category.

3M received two awards in the diagnostic tools category with its Molecular Detection Assay 2 winning a Gold Edison Award and its Mobile True Definition Scanner taking a Bronze Award.
