ACI Executive VP to Retire at End of Year

Richard Sedlak, executive vice president of technical and international affairs for the American Cleaning Institute (ACI), has announced his retirement from the organization effective December 31.

Sedlak has served in a variety of research and leadership positions with ACI since joining the institute in 1977. In the wake of Sedlak’s retirement, Dr. James Kim, ACI’s associate vice president, science and regulatory affairs, will assume leadership of the Institute’s technical and regulatory department. Sedlak will continue to consult with ACI on key projects to ensure a smooth transition.
