Custodial Service Associate at Dallas Hospital Named Top Hygiene Specialist

Lisa Gross is the recipient of UMF Corp.’s 2022 Hygiene Specialist® Excellence Award.

Now in its 13th year, UMF’s annual award highlights the contributions of environmental services (EVS) departments in reducing preventable health care-associated infections (pHAIs). Gross, a custodial service associate with Aramark Healthcare+, has served Methodist Dallas Medical Center for more than five years. Her unit at the Dallas, Texas, hospital has continuously maintained low infection rates throughout her tenure. As the winner of this year’s award, Gross will receive an all-expenses paid trip for two, including airfare, to South Beach, Florida.
