​New Laundry Plant Opens in Texas

Alsco, Inc., a Salt Lake City, UT-based provider of linen laundering and uniform rental services, has opened a new facility in Kyle, TX.

The 96,000-square-foot mixed laundry plant is able to process up to 100,000 pounds of linens per day, allowing Alsco to better service the Austin, TX, metropolitan area. In addition, Alsco has incorporated environmentally friendly water and energy-saving technologies into the facility, such as a water filtration system that allows the plant to reuse up to 70 percent of its wastewater.
