Pizza Parlor Restroom Named America’s Best
Cintas Corp. has named the restroom at Two Cities Pizza in Mason, Ohio, the winner of its annual America’s Best Restroom® Contest.
Established by Cintas in 2002, the award program honors nonresidential, publicly accessible restrooms that place hygiene and style at the top of their priority list and recognize the parallel between clean restrooms and customer retention.
The pizza parlor’s restroom was recognized for its lively atmosphere and décor, which is meant to mimic a New York City subway platform. The sinks have authentic subway handles for fixtures, station stops are announced over a loudspeaker, and the walls are painted to look as if they’re covered in graffiti.
“Maintaining high restroom hygiene standards is essential to meet customers’ heightened expectations of cleanliness,” said Sean Mulcahey, Cintas marketing manager. “We’re proud to honor Two Cities Pizza for creating restrooms that are as memorable as they are clean.”
