Global Tissue Market Expected to Top $57B in Five Years

September 27, 2021

A report from market research firm Global Industry Analysts Inc. (GIA) predicts that the global market for tissue and hygiene products will reach US$57.5 billion by 2026, expanding at a 2.4% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in the next five years.

The study credits the growth in the market to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and a rise in demand for hygiene products, specifically wipes. Geographically, China is forecasted to be among the fastest growing markets, with regional sales predicted to grow at a CAGR of 4.5%, reaching $11.2 billion by 2026. Canada and Japan are speculated to see gains of 1.8% and 0.5% over the same five-year period.
