Third Round of Free COVID-19 Home Tests Now Available

May 18, 2022

To keep COVID-19 from spreading among your workers this summer, remind them to sign up for the third round of free COVID-19 home tests now available from the U.S. government.

U.S. households will receive eight free at-home tests through the website CovidTests.gov, CNN reports. This brings the total number of free tests per household (or mailing address) up to 16.

The government first launched the website in January, allowing four tests per household. A second rounds of ordering was available in March for an additional four tests.

U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration has delivered approximately 350 million free tests so far. The most recent round of tests is funded with money made available in last year’s stimulus package.
