Women in the Cleaning Industry Network Through Hygieia

ISSA Hygieia Network, an ISSA Charities™ signature program dedicated to the advancement and retention of women in the cleaning industry, invites cleaning industry professionals to attend its next Networking and Leadership Virtual Conference: Strategies for Taking Your Seat at the Table on Wednesday, March 30, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. CT. “Advocating for yourself is a crucial skill for people looking to take the next step in their careers,” said ISSA Hygieia Network Program Director Dr. Felicia L. Townsend. “This conference is ideal for mid-level managers in the cleaning industry and any professional seeking to enhance their negotiation skills.”

During the event, attendees will learn how to understand and communicate their value. Presentations will address developing career-building skills including negotiation, managing up, and conveying your worth. The speakers will also discuss gender differences in self-advocacy and how to navigate your seat at the table in a virtual environment.

The conference will feature presentations from Kimberly Morgan, Senior Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at GOJO Industries and Linda Silverman, President at Maintex. Following the presentations, Heidi Solomon, Head of Global Strategy at Kimberly-Clark Professional will facilitate a panel discussion.
