SPARKS, NV—Process Cleaning for Healthy Schools (PC4HS) is pleased to announce that Michael Jones, Director of Custodial Services at Columbia Public Schools (CPS), has been added to the PC4HS Field Advisory Board (FAB), a resource and think tank for process improvement.
Michael Jones graduated from William Jewell College with a B.S. in Business Administration and has 30 years of experience in operations management. Mike oversees the CPS custodial department and warehouse operation serving 38 buildings comprising more than 3.4 million square feet. Michael began Columbia Public Schools’ “Green Initiative” in January 2009 utilizing the Missouri Green Cleaning Guidelines and Specifications for Schools. Columbia Public Schools has won two American School & University Magazine Green Cleaning Awards, 2010 Best New Program and 2011 Grand Award for School Districts. Michael is a member of the Green Clean Schools Leadership Council.
We will be conducting periodic, short interviews with FAB members to prepare and share updates and press briefs about their progress in adopting better ways of cleaning.
