Salmonella Concerns Spark Potato Chip Recall

Frito-Lay, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall of two jalapeño-flavored potato chip products due to possible salmonella contamination.

Frito-Lay issued the recall after being alerted by one of its suppliers that the seasoning blend used in the chips may be contaminated with the bacteria. No reports of illness have been linked to the potentially contaminated chips, CNN reports.
