The Clean Test Showdown: Lumitester Smart vs Conventional Methods

A modern approach to verifying cleanliness with measurable precision

Kikkoman

In this DemoXperience, we go hands-on with Kikkoman Biochemifa Company’s Alissa Shida and ISSA’s Dr. Gavin Macgregor-Skinner for a live, side-by-side demonstration of the Lumitester Smart detection system—a modern approach to verifying cleanliness with measurable precision.

Shida compares the Lumitester Smart system to a conventional test by applying organic soil to a tile surface (using a sausage to simulate real contamination), running both tests before and after cleaning, and analyzing the results.

This demonstration reveals how science-backed testing can help cleaning teams verify results, prove performance, and build confidence with data—not just appearance.
