Celebrate Mentoring Month with a Free Hygieia Webinar

ISSA Hygieia Network, an ISSA Charities™ signature program dedicated to the advancement and retention of women in the cleaning industry, is hosting a free webinar to mark National Mentoring Month. The webinar, Accelerate Your Career Through Mentorship: Calling Potential Mentors and Mentees, will take place on January 20, 11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. (CST). “During the month of January, we recognize the importance of fostering one-to-one mentoring relationships, which is a key component of Hygieia’s work to help women in the cleaning industry develop professionally,” said Dr. Felicia L. Townsend, ISSA Hygieia Network Program Director. “Individuals in mentoring programs are five times more likely to be promoted, making formal mentoring relationships essential for increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in our industry.”

Webinar attendees will learn about the benefits of mentoring and strategies for leveraging a mentoring relationship to the fullest and being an effective mentor. The presenters will also discuss how to join the Hygieia Mentoring Program and tools available to enhance mentoring relationships.

The presentation will be led by Maureen Carroll, National Distribution Sales Manager at SC Johnson Professional, and Kim Price, Vice President of Market Sales at GP PRO, a division of Georgia-Pacific.
