Cintas Reveals America’s Best Restroom

October 24, 2022

Cintas Corp. has named Tampa International Airport (TPA) in Hillsborough County, Florida, the winner of its annual America’s Best Restroom® Contest.

Established by Cintas in 2002, the award program honors nonresidential, publicly accessible restrooms that place hygiene and style at the top of their priority list and recognize the parallel between clean restrooms and customer retention.

The airport’s Airside C facilities, which were completed on the north side of the terminal earlier this year, feature spacious restrooms, coupled with quality craftsmanship and a durable material palette. The well-lit facilities also feature sensor-activated sinks and soap dispensers. As the grand prize winner TPA will receive a Cintas UltraClean® restroom cleaning along with US$2,500 worth of facility services. The airport will also be enshrined in Cintas’ America’s Best Restroom Contest Hall of Fame.

“More and more people are seeking a positive restroom experience,” said Julia Messinger, Cintas marketing manager. “The restrooms at the Tampa International Airport’s Airside C provide just that with their clean and contemporary design features. They’ve rightfully earned the title of America’s Best Restroom.”
