Clean Buildings Expo Canceled

CleanLink and ISSA  announced the cancellation of the Clean Buildings Expo (CBE) 2020 trade show, which was scheduled to take place on August 11-12 at the Baltimore Convention Center.

Since rescheduling the event from its original dates in March, the CBE team has worked with the state of Maryland, the city of Baltimore, and the Baltimore Convention Center to host a safe and secure event that incorporated stringent cleaning, disinfection, and social distancing protocols. 

Due to the state of Maryland’s timeline for its state of emergency and restriction on events, the Baltimore Convention Center is unable to host CBE in August. As a result, this year’s event is canceled.

Additionally, event co-owners and organizers CleanLink and ISSA have made the strategic decision to discontinue the CBE trade show indefinitely.

“We were encouraged with the success of CBE in its inaugural edition in 2019 and anticipated a strong show this year, however evolving and challenging market forces led to our decision with ISSA to discontinue the show going forward,” said Erik Tolles, managing director of Trade Press Media Group, which produces CleanLink. “We sincerely thank our exhibitors, attendees, speakers, and sponsors for their loyalty and support.”

While CBE will not take place in 2021 and beyond, the NFMT Baltimore show that CBE co-located with will continue. NFMT Baltimore 2021 is slated for March 23-25, 2021, at the Baltimore Convention Center.
