CMI Hosts First Virtual Train the Trainer Workshop

July 1, 2020

ISSA’s Cleaning Management Institute (CMI) will host its first Virtual Train the Trainer Workshop in August for facility managers and cleaning professionals who are looking to advance their skills and those of their teams to meet today’s new cleaning challenges.

“Now more than ever, it is crucial for cleaning professionals to elevate the standards of cleaning excellence and efficiencies in all areas of their facilities,” says Brant Insero, ISSA Director of Education, Training, Certification & Standards. “ You can successfully navigate the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic by training your staff to advance to a new level of cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting. This first-ever Train the Trainer workshop is designed to help you do just that.”

The four-part workshop, which takes place on August 6, 13, 20, and 27, utilizes the CMI Custodial Technician Basic and Advanced level certification courses as a foundation for the technical skills being implemented. Each phase of the workshop will include in-depth discussions, presentations, and homework assignments.

Upon successfully completing all course requirements, participants will become a Certified Professional Trainer and can begin implementing the Certified Custodial Technician program at their organizations.
