Dow Chemical Cofounds Plastic Waste Reduction Initiative

Dow Chemical Co., a chemical and plastic manufacturer that services the cleaning industry, has been named a founding member of the Alliance to End Plastic Waste (AEPW).

Comprised of approximately 30 companies, AEPW members have contributed a combined total of US$1 billion to develop and implement solutions that manage, reduce, and eliminate plastic waste in the environment, especially in the ocean. AEPW members also have committed to a goal of raising an additional $1.5 billion during the next five years to reduce plastic waste.
