GBAC/Allergy Standards Limited Expand Educational Partnership on Indoor Air Quality

August 29, 2022

The Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), a Division of ISSA, has teamed with Allergy Standards Limited (ASL), an independent, international air-quality certification company, to form an educational working group specifically focused on indoor air quality. The announcement of the proposed group came directly following the recently held GBAC Symposium on Air Considerations.

While still in development, the group intends to further expand its existing educational partnership that was announced in July. Plans include developing toolkits and education programs for cleaning professionals responsible for educational, business, and health care facilities. Together, the organizations foresee influencing communities that face the most health and financial challenges.

“Providing timely and relevant knowledge and information to the industry on proper cleaning actions for improving indoor air quality is our number one priority,” said Dr. Gavin Macgregor-Skinner, GBAC Senior Director. “Through our combined GBAC and ASL networks, we will work together to further ISSA’s mission of changing the way the world views cleaning.”

Additional information on the educational working group is expected to be announced within the upcoming months.
