Have You Thanked a Custodian Today?

October 2, 2019

October 2 is National Custodial Worker’s Recognition Day, a day set aside to appreciate the men and women who keep facilities clean and healthy. Although these workers are often overlooked, their efforts contribute to critical first impressions and the success of businesses. Their skills also save companies money, as well-maintained carpets and surfaces last longer.

Take time to notice the work your custodial staff does and be sure to thank them, not only today, but regularly. Employers, if you are planning any special events for your custodial workers, please share your plans on CMM’s Facebook page. Custodians, visit our Facebook page if you’d like to share a time that someone’s sincere appreciation of your work brightened your day. Remember to use the hashtag #CustodialWorkersRecognitionDay if you are promoting the day on social media.
