October 25, 2019

For the first time, education from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), a new division of ISSA, will be part of the annual ISSA Show.

ISSA Show North America 2019, which takes place November 18 -21 in Las Vegas, features two unique educational opportunities from GBAC.

Discuss Biological Preparedness and Response with GBAC will be presented Tuesday, November 19 from 3:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. at Solve for X, Booth 2601. This session will highlight the mission of GBAC and its efforts to prepare for, respond to, and recover from biological threats and dangers in an increasingly integrated world. From influenza to Ebola, the cleaning industry has a unique and critical role in global/public health, preparedness, response, and recovery.

GBAC will provide a full day of Bio-Response Fundamentals Training on Thursday, November 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This course will train facility service professionals in applying preventive, response, infection control, and contamination control measures to known or potential infectious disease outbreak situations such as influenza, measles, mumps, and MRSA.
