New Digital Tipping Technology Developed for Hotels

January 4, 2024

Hotel software developer Wrkspot recently announced the addition of digital tipping to its portfolio operations platform, Hotel Management Network reports.

The exiting software already handled resources, operations, and communications for hotel management. The new feature offers guests the ability to tip housekeepers using a QR code located within each guestroom. Hotel management can then view the tips and determine how the payments will be distributed to the workers.

“We’re excited to add this new digital tipping feature to our WrkSpot platform,” said Brent McMahan, Wrkspot head of strategy and growth. “This will support the guest experience while also supporting hotel staff. This addition to our technology allows housekeepers to continue to be recognized for their contributions toward a great guest stay.”
