Sodexo Honored for Employing U.S. Armed Forces Veterans

December 2, 2019

Sodexo recently earned a Platinum Award through the U.S. Department of Labor’s HIRE Vets Medallion Award Program.

The federal-level employment award recognizes organizations for recruiting, employing, and retaining veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Sodexo was honored for its United States Marine Corps East Coast operations.

“As the largest federal government foodservice provider and a company that serves members from all military branches on a daily basis, Sodexo keenly understands the incredible value veterans bring to the workforce,” said Kim Mullahey, vice president of human resources for Sodexo Government, North America. “Not only are we proud of our work hiring veterans, we created programs and initiatives designed specifically to attract veterans to our company and retain them once on board. The HIRE Vets Medallion Award validates those efforts.”
