Submit Your Comments on the Healthy Green Schools Standard

The Healthy Schools Campaign (HSC) and Green Seal® have opened a second round of public review for their Healthy Green Schools & Colleges Standard.

The standard was developed in partnership with directors on the Healthy Green Schools & Colleges Steering Committee. It is geared toward both K-12 school districts and higher education institutions and is the centerpiece of a comprehensive program designed to support facility management professionals. The second version incorporates the feedback submitted during the first public comment period earlier this year and includes a point system that will be used as the basis for certification and continuous improvement.

Green Seal and the HSC are inviting public comments on its second draft of the standard through October 22. Cleaning professionals are encouraged to download the standard and submit comments online via the Healthy Green Schools website.
