Tell Your Story for National Small Business Week
Annual event kicks off September 22
The cleaning industry has its share of small business owners, many who faced severe challenges this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. The U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) is seeking nominations of small business owners who have made contributions to their communities and the nation’s economy despite the hardships of this year.
Originally scheduled for May 3-9, 2020, the SBA will be commemorating Small Business Week September 22 to 25 this year with a virtual conference featuring topics on recovery, adaptation, and innovation.
More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business. These companies create nearly two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year. For more than half a century, the SBA has recognized the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners through National Small Business Week.
Other resources for small businesses include educational sessions and workshops offered through ISSA Show North America Virtual Experience, November 16-19. Educational tracks in commercial and residential cleaning help cleaning company owners bolster their management skills, gain insight into successful business models, and learn human resources and digital marketing approaches that deliver bottom-line results.
