Use Eye Protection to Help Stop the Spread of COVID-19

June 4, 2020

Professionals working the frontline during the COVID-19 are wearing gloves and masks. Are they covering their eyes as well?

The latest Straight Talk video examines how pathogens contained in droplets in the air can enter your body through your eyes. Rubbing your eyes with contaminated hands also can cause you to contract viruses and other germs.

Wearing the proper eye protection helps to prevent these types of exposures. It also reduces the possibility that your eye secretions could contaminate surfaces if you are carrying the virus.

Learn more about other ways you can help stop the transmission of the coronavirus, as well as other cleaning industry best practices, on Straight Talk’s Facebook page.
