Bain Capital to Acquire Diversey Care

Sealed Air Corp—a provider of commercial cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene solutions—has entered into an agreement to divest its Diversey Care division to global private investment firm Bain Capital, LP for US$3.2 billion.

The deal also includes Sealed Air’s food hygiene and cleaning segment within its food care division. The transaction is expected to be finalized in the second half of the year, pending customary closing and regulatory conditions.
