Compliance with the CIMS standard demonstrates that a cleaning organization has the systems in place to deliver consistent, professional services designed to meet customers’ needs and expectations. CIMS certification is required in many cleaning service bid specifications as customers look for an effective way to identify high-quality providers that are committed to customer satisfaction. The addition of the GB designation indicates that the organization uses sustainable and environmentally preferable cleaning practices.
