E. coli Contamination Prompts Flour Recall in Canada

Smucker Food of Canada Corp. recently issued a recall for its 22-pound bags of Robin Hood All-Purpose flour due to a contamination of E.coli.

Smucker Food issued the recall after an investigation by the Canadian Inspection Agency (CFI) linked 25 illness cases, including six hospitalizations, to the flour, according to FoodSafetyNews.com.

The CFIA asks those who have purchased the flour with the best before date of April 17, 2018, to dispose or return the product to the store where it was purchased.
