I have a facility that is about 100,000 square feet and I would like to know how many people I should use to clean it and how much to charge per square foot.
Tuesday’s Answer:
All of that depends on your production rates for what needs to be done, and how much your business’ costs are, along with your desired profit for the work. Not knowing any of that, I can only offer some guidelines about how you can learn to work the numbers.
For a facility that size, you should probably implement team cleaning. Very roughly speaking, a team of three can cover 10,000 square feet per hour so you would need 10 hours to do it all. Two teams of three working for 5 hours will get the job done in half the time.
