Salmonella Temporarily Shutters Two Boston Restaurants

Health officials temporarily suspended the health permits of two Boston, MA, restaurants due to an outbreak of salmonella.

Boston Inspectional Services ordered the temporary closures after linking nine confirmed cases of salmonella to the eateries, which are housed in the same building in the city’s Back Bay neighborhood. A further inspection found 19 health code violations at each restaurant.

Both restaurants are working with city health officials to resolve the violations and will reopen once their permits are reinstated, WBTS-TV reports.
