America’s Best Restroom Offers a View of Animals

October 24, 2019

Cintas Corp. has named the Nashville Zoo’s public restroom in Nashville, Tennessee, the winner of the 2019 America’s Best Restroom® contest.

Established by Cintas in 2002, the award program honors businesses that place hygiene and style at the top of their priority list and recognize the parallel between clean restrooms and customer retention.

The Nashville Zoo’s restrooms feature floor-to-ceiling glass windows which allow visitors a unique view of various animals in their exhibits. As the winning entry, the zoo will receive US$2,500 in Cintas services along with enshrinement in Cintas’ America’s Best Restroom Contest Hall of Fame.

“The Nashville Zoo was able to turn its public restrooms into another attraction, and the public responded in a very positive way,” said Sean Mulcahey, marketing manager for Cintas. “Public restrooms meet many needs, so it’s important that they’re not only clean and well-maintained, but also memorable because it can impact the success of your business.”
