BSC Plans Volunteer Day to Clean the Homes of Cancer Patients
Cleaning for a Reason, an ISSA Charities™ signature program that provides clean homes for cancer patients, is excited to announce a Volunteer Day collaboration with Prestige Maintenance USA Oct. 23, in Plano, Texas.
This event exemplifies the impact of Volunteer Days, where businesses and individuals partner to support a greater cause. On this day, volunteers from Prestige Maintenance USA, guided by professional crew chiefs from Buckets & Bows Maid Service, will clean the homes of four cancer patients in Plano and the surrounding areas, providing their services free of charge.
“We’re thrilled to support Cleaning for a Reason,” Rachel Sanchez, Prestige Maintenance USA CEO said. “This amazing charity offers cancer patients the invaluable gift of a clean home, allowing them to focus on their treatment and spend precious time with their loved ones. Our team is committed to raising funds so that even more patients can experience the comfort and peace of a clean, healthy, and welcoming environment.”
Sandy Wolfrum, ISSA Charities director of development, emphasized the broader impact of this collaboration: “Prestige Maintenance and Buckets & Bows Maid Service have truly raised the bar for hosting a Volunteer Day. Their dedication goes far beyond just cleaning homes—they’re making a real difference in the lives of cancer patients by providing a clean, safe haven during a tough time. This effort not only benefits the four patients directly involved but also raises awareness about Cleaning for a Reason throughout North Texas. The funds raised from this collaboration will help us extend our mission and reach more patients and families across North America. We’re incredibly grateful for their unwavering support and commitment.”
