Cleaning Services Offered by Online Retailer Gain Rave Reviews

Learn how to earn positive reviews and control your online presence

Amazon is not only giving brick and mortar retailers a run for their money. It also is competing against service businesses including cleaning companies.

Several publications are advising their readers to check out Amazon cleaning services, pointing to their positive online reviews. According to House Beautiful, more than 75% of customers who used Amazon’s cleaning services gave the service providers and the company five out of five stars. Customers visit Amazon’s Home Services page and answer a few questions, such as the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in their home and their cleaning product preference, to help estimate the price. Then customers select a date and time frame within the next 90 days for the professional to come, with options available as early as the day they make the order. A typical cleaning includes dusting, mopping, and vacuuming of all rooms; trash removal to outdoor cans; kitchen counters, floor, and stove cleaning; and bathroom vanity, tub, and toilet cleaning.

The website SheKnows touted Amazon’s Deep Cleaning/Spring Cleaning service, which includes additional tasks such as cleaning shower tracks, the interior and exterior of the microwave, the exterior of the fridge, and all parts of the oven. It also includes dusting of blinds and washing of interior windows. According to the website, the service has more than 29,000 reviews and an overall 4.5-star rating.

Although competing with a giant like Amazon can seem intimating, many smaller cleaning businesses have the cleaning experience and dedicated staff to do so. If the only thing you’re missing is the rave customer reviews, learn some tips on how to take control of your company’s online presence.
