Ecolab Named to Sustainability Index

September 24, 2019

Ecolab Inc. has been named to the 2019 Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) North America Index.

Launched in 1999, the index evaluates the sustainability performance of the largest companies listed on the Dow Jones based on an analysis of a company’s corporate economic, environmental, and social performance. This marks the fifth consecutive year Ecolab has been included in the North America Index, and the sixth time overall since 2012.

“Every day, our 49,000 associates work to make the world cleaner, safer and healthier, and to be successful, we must operate sustainably,” said Douglas M. Baker Jr., Ecolab CEO. “We are honored to again be recognized on the DJSI North America Index for our commitment to operating responsibly.”
