September 27, 2021

Medline Industries Inc. has announced the winners of its 2021 EVS Super Star VIP of Clean contest.

The second-annual contest called for environmental services (EVS) department managers to nominate individual employees as a “Super Star” for such accomplishments as boosting staff morale, implementing a new disinfecting process, providing exceptional education or training offerings, or delivering positive patient/resident satisfaction scores. This year’s honorees are Lizzeth Guerra of Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in California and Mary Cowles of Heritage Valley Health System Inc. in Pennsylvania.

“Thank you to Lizzeth and Mary for everything they do. They play vital roles in the everyday lives of their colleagues and patients, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share their inspirational stories,” said Megan Henken, Medline vice president of EVS product management.
