Yesterday’s news featured the challenges faced by the building service contractor segment of the cleaning industry in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The manufacturing segment has been hit just as hard. Companies that already work long hours are burdened with a higher demand for their goods, especially critical items needed to prepare for and deal with this current crisis.

ISSA interviewed five leading manufacturers in the cleaning industry—Golden Star, the Clorox Company, American Formula, Avmor, and Hospeco—to learn their tactics for keeping up with demands. From giving priority to health care facilities to making sure their workers are protecting themselves while on the front lines, manufacturers are stepping up to meet expectations and doing their part to help protect the public from COVID-19.

Learn about the manufacturers’ experiences and gain detailed advice in the second part of our series: An Industry Unites: Keeping Up With Product Demand During a Pandemic.
