Rapping and Rocking Your Way to Cleanliness

New survey reveals most common music for cleaning

September 9, 2019

Professional cleaners: If you haven’t already, you may want to download some of your favorite tunes for that next long workday. A new One Poll survey found that about 66 Americans listen to music while cleaning their homes to help motivate them to get through the task, Fox News reports.

The top music choice for house cleaning is hip-hop and rap, followed by the blues, perhaps because people are blue about having to spend the day cleaning. Rock and roll is the third most popular genre for cleaning.

More than half of the survey participants said they don’t mind cleaning because it relaxes them. But the majority said they clean to procrastinate completing other tasks.

Speaking of rock and roll, professional cleaners can learn to perform like a rock star in their business by learning the innovative success principles of their favorite rock stars, along with some serious business content, at Opportunity Rocks: Rock Star Performance Equals Rock Star Results, at ISSA Show North America 2019 in Las Vegas, November 18-21. Spotlight speaker Marvelless Mark Kamp will teach attendees the four key principles that fuel rock-star success. This topic is multigenerational, motivational, and is delivered in a high-energy presentation with rock-solid content and hilarious audience interaction. Participants will leave feeling ready to perform like a rock star!
