Study Finds Changes in Customer Preferences to Drive Cleaning Market

December 7, 2017

Changes in end-user preferences will help the U.S. cleaning market reach US$5 billion by 2022, according to a recent report by industry market research firm Kline & Co.

Kline & Co. surveyed more than 1,000 end-users in compiling its report and found the largest product categories in the marketplace to be hard surface, hand care, and floor care. According to Kline & Co., these three segments account for more than 85 percent of the total market value. The study found the fastest growing segment of end users in nursing homes and health care facilities. Kline & Co. attributed this rise in awareness of health care-associated infection prevention and a steadily increasing aging population.
