Workshop Teaches How to Tackle Biological Threats

February 20, 2020

Combatting biohazards such as the virus that causes COVID-19 requires hands-on situational response training. Gain the knowledge and competence to identify, evaluate, reduce, and eliminate biological threats at the GBAC® Bio-Remediation and Response Fundamentals workshop on Thursday, March 19, following the Clean Buildings Expo in Baltimore.

This course demonstrates hands-on situational response training and covers the fundamentals of biohazardous material clean up and waste management. Attendees will learn infection control and contamination control measures with a special emphasis on COVID-19. They will review the basics of personal protective equipment (PPE), including proper donning and doffing procedures, as well as build skills in bio-response and biohazard remediation. Upon course completion, participants are eligible to obtain the status of Forensic Restoration Technician™ through the Global BioRisk Advisory Council (GBAC), a division of ISSA.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to become a microbial warrior. Register for this workshop and others at the CBE today.
