Norovirus Outbreak Strikes Florida School

A norovirus outbreak has been confirmed at Lowry Elementary in Tampa, FL.

Hillsborough County, FL, Public Health officials stated more than 100 students have exhibited symptoms of the gastrointestinal illness during the past week. School administrators have ordered a deep cleaning of all high-touch surfaces and have asked parents to keep children at home if they display norovirus-like symptoms, WTSP-TV reports.
