Giving Tuesday Nets Nearly $33,000 for ISSA Charities

ISSA announced today that the association has raised nearly US$33,000 via its annual Giving Tuesday campaign.  ISSA Charities™  provide free home cleanings for cancer patients, works to advance women in the industry, and supports the next generation through scholarships and internships. 

Ann, a recipient of a free home cleaning facilitated by ISSA Charities’ Cleaning for a Reason program, shared how important the power of a clean home is to cancer patients and their families, “Cleaning makes a big difference when you’re dealing with cancer. You must have your house cleaned of fungus, dust, germs, and bacteria. You never know when you might get an infection that you can’t fight off. The gift of a clean home gives hope, relief, and a degree of control back at a time when so much is uncertain.” 

“We appreciate the generosity of our donors and sponsors.  With their contributions, it will allow us to make a significant impact in the lives of many deserving individuals.  We are extremely grateful for their support,” said ISSA Charities Director of Development Sandy Wolfrum.

Aqua ChemPacs LLC chose to support the ISSA Giving Tuesday campaign by matching donations received. “Giving back is really important to me. We really love the mission of Cleaning for a Reason and my whole team is about supporting this cause,” said Steve Seneca, Aqua ChemPacs chairman and CEO. “Cleaning for a Reason believes in the power that a clean-living environment can have on a cancer patient’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This mission is very close to us here at Aqua ChemPacs and we are proud to support this noble cause.”
