Howie Clean It: Restaurant Edition

October 5, 2022

Restaurants are an integral part of our lives as social human beings. Yes, they are a place to eat, but they go beyond utilitarian purposes as a place where we connect and communicate. But how often do we take the time to wonder about its cleanliness? After all, even with inspectors and cleaning standards in place, we’ve all likely seen at some point in our lives a messy kitchen that doesn’t meet our own personal standards of cleanliness.

This is the issue that comedian Howie Mandel and Global Biorisk Advisory Council™ (GBAC), a Division of ISSA, Senior Director Dr. Gavin Macgregor-Skinner tackled in the restaurant episode of Howie Clean it. As part of ISSA’s Rethink What Clean Means campaign, the two have teamed up to uncover the hidden grime all around us in order to rethink clean as a society.

To see what the clean-obsessed pair discovered this time, watch the episode below.
