ISSA Show North America 2022 Begins Today

ISSA Show North America 2022—the largest event for the global cleaning community—kicks off today (Monday, October 10) at McCormick Place and Convention Center in Chicago. The trade show, taking place through Thursday, October 13, is the foremost opportunity for cleaning professionals to keep up with industry trends, learn more about the latest technologies, and connect with industry leaders from around the world.

“The ISSA Show North America is the industry’s largest and most anticipated event of the year,” said ISSA Executive Director John Barrett. “It’s the premier place for organizations and professionals to come together to learn, network, and share innovative cleaning products that will guide us on the path to better health.”

This year’s show offers more than 70 opportunities for education and certification, networking, and exploring innovations within the industry. More than 600 exhibitors, innovators, and experts in commercial, residential, and institutional cleaning will be in attendance.

Here are some of the highlights you can expect at this week’s show:

Today’s sessions include a Lunch and Learn at 11:45 a.m. led by Derreck Kayongo, a native of Uganda and former refugee who worked his way up to become a CEO of a major American cultural institution. Kayongo will speak on the challenges of diversity and inclusion within a business and the cost of discrimination in a workplace.

On Tuesday at 9 a.m., entrepreneur, award-winning author, and motivational speaker Bill Rancic will share his business experiences and expertise. Rancic, winner of the first season of the NBC TV show The Apprentice, will discuss business best practices in a world beset by turbulence, uncertainty, and dramatic change.

On Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., check out a unique opportunity to speak frankly and get personal about the challenges your business is facing at Shannon Vogel’s Fireside Chat. Vogel, founder and owner of Reach Social, will deliver the business “pep talk” you’d never expect to receive at a trade show.

The ISSA General Business Meeting takes place at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday. All ISSA members are welcome and encouraged to attend. It’s a great opportunity to network with fellow members and meet ISSA’s board of directors.

The show wraps up on Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Innovation Awards Announcement and Happy Hour.
