Professional Cleaning Services Demand Expected to Increase

July 22, 2021

The market for professional cleaning services in the United States is expected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate—or CAGR—of 6% between 2021 and 2026, according to a new study from market research firm Research and Markets.

The study found the growth can be attributed to the increased popularity of green cleaning technology. The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in an increased awareness of contagious diseases, driving the demand for disinfectants and also automated services, such as robotic floor cleaning machines.

According to the report, the Northeastern U.S. will see the most significant growth, reaching US$31 billion by 2026. The study attributes the rise to the region’s early adoption of green technology and growth in new construction.
