APIC Conference to Highlight Disinfection Innovations

November 3, 2022

Registration continues for the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology’s (APIC) Cleaning, Disinfection, and Sterilization Conference, which will take place virtually on November 10 and 11, 2022.

This year’s conference will include an educational session titled Healthcare Surface Disinfection: Innovations and Experiences. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how disinfection innovations, such as ultraviolet light, hydrogen peroxide, metals, copper-coated or -infused polymers and alloys, newer long-acting disinfectants, and handheld devices can support patient safety.

In another session, titled A Useful Guide: Everything You Need to Know about UV-C Disinfection, presenters will discuss the latest research on UV disinfection and how to determine which solution—manual or autonomous—is best for your facility.

Click here to register for the event. Attendees will have access to all live-streamed sessions, plus on-demand access to all educational sessions after the event, through February 28, 2023.
